Digital Content & eCommerce Specialist

Job Summary
This role is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of digital creative assets across EDM and website channels ensuring all campaigns are executed accurately on time and to a high standard.
Working closely with the Digital Content Manager Ecommerce Manager Marketing team and key stakeholders this role plays a critical part in bringing campaigns to life from briefing and design through to build QA scheduling and post-send updates. The role requires strong design capability exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Campaign & Workflow Management
- In partnership with the Digital Content Manager coordinate and execute digital campaigns across EDM and website channels
- Manage campaign timelines ensuring all deliverables are prioritised and delivered on schedule
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align on campaign objectives messaging and timelines
- Ensure all campaign assets are accurate approved and ready ahead of launch deadlines
EDM (Email Marketing) End-to-End Process
- Translate campaign briefs into clear EDM requirements (audience messaging layout product selection links)
- Design EDM layouts aligned to brand guidelines and campaign objectives
- Build EDMs within the email platform (Klaviyo or similar) including:
- Module setup and content population
- Personalisation and dynamic content where applicable
- ALT text and accessibility best practices
- Manage the EDM workflow from:
- Brief Design Build Internal Review Stakeholder Approval QA Scheduling Send
- Conduct thorough QA across devices (desktop and mobile) links and content accuracy
- Coordinate approvals with stakeholders and implement feedback efficiently
- Schedule and deploy EDMs in line with the campaign calendar
Website Assets & CMS Management
- Design and produce digital assets for website use including:
- Website assets
- Landing pages
- Promotional tiles and category assets
- Build update and manage website content within the CMS ensuring:
- Content accuracy and consistency
- Correct linking and navigation
- Alignment with campaign schedules
- In partnership with the Digital Content Manager manage the setup and ongoing optimisation of campaign landing pages
- Maintain and update live campaign content as required
- Ensure all website content is optimised for customer experience and performance
Design & Creative Execution
- Create high-quality digital assets in line with brand guidelines and campaign objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine creative direction and messaging
- Ensure all assets are delivered in correct formats and specifications to avoid rework
- Maintain consistency across all digital touchpoints
Quality Assurance & Optimisation
- Perform QA across EDMs and website assets to ensure accuracy functionality and visual quality
- Identify and resolve issues proactively before campaign launch
- Support continuous improvement of processes templates and workflows
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to deliver campaign requirements
- Communicate timelines updates and risks clearly
- Manage feedback loops efficiently to meet deadlines
Ad Hoc
- Support wider digital and marketing initiatives as required
Qualifications :
- 2 years experience in digital design preferably within retail or eCommerce
- Hands-on experience building EDMs (Klaviyo or similar platforms highly regarded)
- Experience working with CMS platforms
- Strong working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge (advantageous)
- Strong understanding of digital customer journey and UX principles
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
- High attention to detail and strong QA mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
