We are seeking a Modern WorkEngineer with expertise in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and/or Windows 365 (W365) to support enterprise customers within a Microsoft-managed services environment. This role focuses on the deployment configuration and ongoing operation of virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) in Azure ensuring secure scalable and high-performance end-user computing environments. You will operate in a hybrid delivery model working closely with Microsoft-aligned teams to support modern workplace initiatives and maintain high service quality within an SLA-driven framework.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Deploy configure and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and/or Windows 365 environments
• Design and maintain virtual desktop infrastructure including host pools session hosts and user access configurations
• Configure and manage:
  • Virtual networks load balancers VPN and ExpressRoute connectivity
• Implement and support FSLogix profiles for user environment optimization
• Manage Azure storage services (Blob File Disk) supporting VDI environments
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to:
  • User sessions
  • Connectivity
  • Profile management
• Support patching updates and lifecycle management of virtual desktop environments
• Ensure adherence to security compliance and operational best practices
• Collaborate with Microsoft stakeholders and internal teams to meet service-level agreements (SLAs)
• Document architecture configurations and operational procedures

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 10 yrs of hands-on experience managing Microsoft 365 environments
• Deploy configure and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and/or Windows 365 environments
• Design and maintain virtual desktop infrastructure including host pools session hosts and user access configurations
• Configure and manage:
  • Virtual networks load balancers VPN and ExpressRoute connectivity
• Implement and support FSLogix profiles for user environment optimization
• Manage Azure storage services (Blob File Disk) supporting VDI environments
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to:
  • User sessions
  • Connectivity
  • Profile management
• Support patching updates and lifecycle management of virtual desktop environments
• Ensure adherence to security compliance and operational best practices
• Collaborate with Microsoft stakeholders and internal teams to meet service-level agreements (SLAs)
• Document architecture configurations and operational procedures
• Japanese: Native or fluent (required for customer interaction and documentation)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of NetApp (Azure NetApp Files)
• Experience with Azure security services (Defender for Cloud Key Vault)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (ARM templates Bicep)
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and identity integration
• Experience working in Microsoft-managed or large-scale enterprise environments
