Join the Additive Minds team at EOS Japan the global leader in industrial 3D Printing technology and help shape the future of additive manufacturing. As a Business Development Manager you will be at the forefront of driving growth and innovation within the additive manufacturing industry. You will play a pivotal role in identifying and developing new markets crafting strategic partnerships and help position EOS Japan for sustainable growth.

Your Mission:

Market Expansion and Strategy: Identify prioritize and strategically target new and existing markets to expand our footprint. Execute strategies to grow business pipeline and collaborate with the global team and stakeholders to align efforts and maximize impact.

Opportunity Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of potential business opportunities using advanced data analytics to inform and support sales strategic decisions.

Advisor Management: Recruit manage and guide external advisors to gain deep insights and access to key markets furthering our reach and understanding.

Customer Enablement: Enable early-stage customers to define and implement an Additive Manufacturing strategy through customer specific workshops and positioning of Additive Minds services

Project Collaboration and Acquisition: Spearhead business acquisition efforts for Additive Minds. Work in close collaboration with Sales and Project Engineering teams to design custom project roadmaps that meet client needs and advance our objectives.

Brand Building: Elevate the Additive Minds brand by spearheading thought leadership initiatives including the creation of white papers articles and conference presentations. Identify and leverage industry conferences for targeted lead generation.

Tools and Scalability: Develop and refine tools and strategies to enhance the scalability and effectiveness of our business development and Additive Minds activities ensuring we remain at the industrys cutting edge.

Collaboration and Enablement: Work closely with EOS Sales teams and Channel Partners to empower and enable them fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual success.

Case Study: Initiate and develop production stories/references/case studies with real data to support specific industries and applications

Your Talents:

You are a visionary with a passion for additive manufacturing eager to drive growth and innovation in the industry.

You have an in-depth understanding of Additive Manufacturing technologies and its applicable markets

Youre comfortable having technical discussions on systems materials and applications in different industries

With a strategic mindset you excel in identifying and cultivating new opportunities and markets.

Your analytical skills enable you to make data-driven decisions and identify trends and opportunities.

Experienced in managing and motivating cross functional teams you know how to leverage external advisors to achieve business objectives.

You are a natural collaborator skilled in working across teams and with partners to achieve shared goals.

Your communication skills make you a thought leader capable of shaping the industry narrative through compelling content and presentations.

You are business fluent in BOTH Japanese and English.

Open to travel within Japan as role requires with minimal Asia and global travel (10%)

Experience:

Bachelors degree in engineering business and engineering or a related field. A masters degree is highly advantageous.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the polymer additive manufacturing ecosystem whether in a business development capacity as a user of polymer additive manufacturing technologies or in a related high-tech industry.

Experience in market analysis strategic business planning and executing growth strategies.

Experience in managing projects from conception to execution demonstrating the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering sales and marketing teams.

Familiarity with additive manufacturing technologies and trends. Technical background in engineering or a related field is highly beneficial for understanding the products and services offered.
