IBM Maximo Functional Lead with Utilities

We are seeking an experienced IBM Maximo Functional Lead with MAS 9.x expertise and strong exposure to the Utilities domain. The ideal candidate will lead functional design configuration and implementation of Maximo solutions ensuring alignment with enterprise asset management (EAM) standards and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional design configuration and deployment of IBM Maximo across multiple business units.
• Gather and translate business requirements into Maximo workflows asset hierarchies job plans and work management processes.
• Conduct and drive solution design workshops with business stakeholders SMEs and technical teams.
• Prepare and manage functional documentation including BRDs FDDs configuration documents and test scenarios.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations data migration and interface validations.
• Ensure system configurations comply with enterprise asset management (EAM) standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and support SIT/UAT cycles including test planning execution defect management and readiness assessments.
• Provide guidance on Maximo best practices process improvements and user adoption strategies.
• Handle functional issue resolution and provide ongoing production support.
• Assist clients with operational support and continuous improvements of Maximo EAM solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in IBM Maximo Functional roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 9.x.
• Proven experience in the Utilities industry (Energy Water or Gas).
• Expertise in EAM processes including Asset Management Work Management Preventive Maintenance and Inventory.
• Experience in functional documentation (BRD FDD test cases).
• Strong knowledge of Maximo configurations workflows and modules.
• Experience working with integration and data migration projects.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in enterprise-level Maximo implementations.
• Exposure to compliance and regulatory standards in Utilities.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
