Job Description

We are seeking a ServiceNow Architect ITOM to lead the design and implementation of IT Operations Management (ITOM) solutions on the ServiceNow this role you will define scalable integrated ITOM architectures that enhance operational visibility automation and service health monitoring across infrastructure cloud and applications. You will work closely with infrastructure cloud and application teams to align ITOM capabilities with business outcomes and operational excellence goals.

Key Responsibilities (Rephrased)

Architecture & Design

• Architect scalable and integrated ITOM solutions on the ServiceNow platform with emphasis on Discovery CMDB Service Mapping Event Management and AIOps.
• Define and implement CMDB strategies service modeling and dependency mapping to improve data accuracy and impact analysis.
• Design solutions that support proactive monitoring root cause analysis incident correlation and operational intelligence.

Implementation & Integration

• Lead implementation of core ITOM modules: Discovery Service Mapping Event Management Cloud Management and AIOps.
• Integrate ServiceNow with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds Dynatrace AppDynamics and Splunk and with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure and GCP.
• Configure and extend MID Server scripting and integration patterns to support real time data ingestion and event correlation.

Operational Excellence

• Enable real time visibility into infrastructure and services through custom dashboards health indicators and KPIs.
• Automate remediation workflows incident correlation and event enrichment using Event Management and AIOps capabilities.
• Optimize incident problem change and service model workflows to reduce MTTR and improve service health.

Governance & Best Practices

• Establish CMDB governance data quality standards and reconciliation rules to ensure trusted up to date configuration data.
• Define and evangelize ITOM best practices for integration design performance tuning and operational resilience.
• Monitor and tune platform performance and scalability for large scale ITOM instances.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Partner with infrastructure cloud and application teams to align ITOM capabilities with operational goals and incident management processes.
• Mentor ServiceNow developers and platform engineers on ITOM architecture modeling and integration best practices.
• Lead cross functional discussions and transformation initiatives involving operational visibility automation and event driven workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8 years of IT experience with 4 years focused on ServiceNow ITOM architecture and delivery.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure cloud services and enterprise monitoring tools.
• Hands on experience with ServiceNow ITOM modules including Discovery Service Mapping Event Management Cloud Management and AIOps.
• Proficiency in JavaScript Glide scripting and ServiceNow integration patterns along with MID Server configuration and administration.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist ITOM is preferred but not mandatory.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a focus on operational data and incident patterns.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities comfortable presenting technical designs to both technical and business audiences.
• Proven ability to lead cross functional teams and guide operational transformation programs.
