Overview
Inspire Brands is seeking a Product Owner to support and stabilize its payments and digital commerce ecosystem across multiple brands. This role is focused on owning and managing existing payment platforms and vendor relationships not building net-new product features or driving a traditional roadmap.
The ideal candidate will hit the ground running take ownership of day-to-day execution across payments technology and act as the primary liaison between vendors internal technology partners and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage Inspire Brands payments digital channels including:
Payment processors
Gateways
POS terminals
Kiosks and terminal applications
Serve as the primary point of contact for external payment vendors and technology partners
Reduce operational load on internal teams by proactively managing vendor relationships issues and dependencies
Partner closely with internal technology digital experience and operations teams to ensure smooth execution and reliability
Translate business and technical needs into epics and user stories in Jira
Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies as needed to support delivery and execution
Manage multiple initiatives concurrently across a fast paced multi brand environment
Ensure awareness and alignment around:
Payment reliability
Fraud considerations
Compliance impacts
Important Clarification
This role is not a traditional Product Manager position focused on defining features or owning a future state roadmap. The focus is execution vendor management and operational ownership of Inspire Brands current payments landscape.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree required (Business Computer Science or related field preferred)
5 years of experience in product ownership or product management ideally within:
Payments
Digital commerce
Fintech
Direct experience with:
Payment processing platforms
Payment gateways
Digital wallets
Gift cards
Transactional or checkout platforms
Proven experience working with external vendors and third party technology providers
Hands on experience using Jira in an Agile environment
Ability to translate requirements into actionable work without heavy new development focus
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and multiple workstreams simultaneously
Self starter who can operate independently and drive execution
Nice to Have
Exposure to fraud preventioncompliance or payment reliability concepts
Advanced degree in business technology or a related field
