Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing (In-Patient Psychiatric)

Summary: Assist the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) / Director of Nursing (DON) in directing planning coordinating and supervising nursing operations and the delivery of behavioral health services. Ensure efficient operations while maintaining a positive empathetic and professional approach toward patients and staff. Emphasize patient safety as the highest priority.
Responsibilities
Support leadership in managing nursing operations within an inpatient psychiatric setting
Coordinate and oversee delivery of behavioral health nursing services
Supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to clinical standards
Monitor operational efficiency and patient care quality
Promote a culture of safety empathy and professionalism
Assist in policy implementation and compliance with healthcare regulations
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; advanced degree (MSN/DNP) is a plus
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific)
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required (5 years preferred)
At least 1 year of experience in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery (2 years preferred)
Minimum 1 year of progressive leadership/management experience required
CPR certification required
De-escalation/restraint certification required (training may be provided)
First Aid certification
