Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Columbus OH. This role requires a strong background in cloud infrastructure automation and observability with a focus on building scalable and reliable systems. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in AWS infrastructure as code and modern monitoring tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design implement and manage scalable secure and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery
- Implement robust monitoring logging and alerting solutions using tools like Splunk and Dynatrace
- Ensure system reliability performance and scalability through proactive monitoring and observability practices
- Automate routine operational tasks using scripting (Python Bash or similar).
- Collaborate with development QA and operations teams to streamline deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8 10 years of experience in DevOps or related roles
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace
- Solid scripting skills (Python Shell or similar)
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
- Experience with system monitoring logging and performance tuning
