This role supports development of an internal granular load forecasting platform focused on forecasting electrical load at a highly granular (feeder/circuit) level. The Platform Engineer will primarily build and maintain data pipelines within Databricks integrate forecast inputs from multiple internal teams and ensure data flows reliably into the forecasting platform. Deliverables include ETL pipelines workflows ingestion processes and support for data cleanup and standardization.

What does a typical day look like

Building ETL pipelines and Databricks workflows

Coordinating with analysts data scientists IT and non-technical teams

Translating data needs into technical pipelines

Supporting ingestion of non-standard data sources

Participating in follow-up stakeholder conversations once discovery begins

Some individual contributor heads-down technical work
