Job Summary
Strong hands on experience with enterprise WLAN technologies (Cisco Aruba).
Must have : Strong Experience with Aruba ClearPass for 802.1X RADIUS profiling and role-based access
Deep understanding of:
RF fundamentals (channel planning power interference mitigation)
802.11 standards including Wi Fi 5/6/6E/7
WLAN authentication (EAP methods RADIUS role based access)
Enterprise controllers cloud managed Wi Fi platforms and policy engines
Proficiency with wireless survey tools (Ekahau Hamina etc.)
Experience with Cradlepoint or similar 5G cellular enabled networking platforms
Experience supporting large scale Wi Fi environments in complex organisations.
Experience with Aruba ClearPass for 802.1X RADIUS profiling and role-based access
Ability to interpret network analytics performance data and incident trends.
Excellent communication skills and comfort engaging with both technical and non technical stakeholders.
Able to travel ad-hoc to National Grid locations for onsite pre and post deployment Wi-Fi surveys
