Job Summary
description:
Provides diagnostic therapeutic and consultative services to patients with communication cognitive and swallowing disorders. Adheres to state and federal regulatory license certification and accrediting requirement guidelines. Serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.
requirement:
Day Shift rotating days of the week. 5 x 8s 8:30 to 5pm. 2 years of experience in acute with adults (1 year considered if internship was done in acutes). Must have MBS; Also a big plus if experience done in pediatric MBS. No Call. Weekend Rotation required likely every 3rd Sat/ and Work Experience:Masters Degree or foreign equivalent: RequiredTwo years speech language pathology experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: RequiredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: RequiredAmerican Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): PreferredFacility Specific License/Certifications:AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
