Position Description:

Software Architect IIS Applications We are seeking a high-caliber Software Architect to lead the design development and evolution of our mission-critical IIS-hosted this role you will act as the technical authority bridging complex business requirements with secure scalable and high-performance software solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity security and scalability of enterprise applications throughout their lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Lead architectural discussions to analyze technical requirements and design scalable performance-efficient applications optimized for IIS deployment Translate complex business needs into detailed technical designs components and specifications for development teams Evaluate recommend and select appropriate technologies frameworks and libraries for both front-end and back-end solutions Establish and enforce code quality standards best practices and rigorous code reviews across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Design and engineer systems with a strong focus on database optimization performance tuning and caching strategies to ensure maximum efficiency Ensure all application architectures strictly adhere to ADPH security standards and enterprise security requirements Serve as the technical liaison between software developers project managers business analysts and customers to ensure successful and timely project delivery Provide technical leadership and guidance in converting complex business requirements into well-structured technical architectures Top 4 skills: Core MVC 4/5 C# SQL Server / SSMS Required Technical Expertise: Core MVC 4/5 C# HTML5 JavaScript jQuery SQL Server / SSMS Visual Studio Bootstrap IIS (Internet Information Services) configuration and optimization Preferred Skills & Attributes Strong architectural mindset with experience designing enterprise-scale systems Proven ability to optimize application performance and scalability Deep understanding of secure software design principles Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences Experience working across cross-functional teams in a leadership role - Resumes Forwarded: As they are received - Contract Type: Contract - Contract Length: 10/27/28 - BR: BR5 - Max # of Submissions: 2 - Submission Timeline: 4/17 5pm ct - Interview Types: Video/In person based on location - Interview Timeline: As resumes are reviewed - Background Requirements: - Target Start Date: 4/27/26 - Submittals must include: Resume RTR and Cover letter - Candidate will work 100% in Montgomery AL - No remote work allowed - Submittals must be from a prime supplier.
