Staff Field Applications Engineer specializing in power electronics switching power supply design and GaN/Si technologies supporting customers with technical solutions design optimization and application engineering.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide switching power supply design support using power electronics products GaN technology and Si-based solutions
-
Deliver expert technical support and field application engineering guidance to global customers
-
Analyze complex technical issues in power supply design and provide optimized engineering solutions
-
Conduct detailed design reviews including schematic review PCB layout review magnetics design and performance validation
-
Advise on component selection power electronics components and optimization for high-performance switching power supplies
-
Support sales teams through customer visits technical presentations and application engineering consultation
-
Deliver technical training application notes and product demonstrations to customers and partners
-
Assist with trade shows seminars and technical marketing initiatives to promote power electronics solutions
-
Perform worst-case analysis circuit analysis and validation for switching power supply designs
-
Collaborate with engineering sales and manufacturing teams to deliver integrated application solutions

Experience with simulation tools circuit analysis and lab testing equipment

Strong communication skills with experience in technical documentation and reporting

Ability to travel up to 10% for customer engagement and field support
