JOB TITLE: C-130 APG Mechanic
LOCATION: Greenville SC
PAY RATE: $34-38/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Shift: 1st Shift Monday Thursday 5:30 AM 4:00 PM

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Perform/assist with launch recovery preflight thru-flight and post-flight inspections

• Conduct ground handling servicing maintenance engine runs and operational checkouts

• Troubleshoot install repair and maintain electro-mechanical and hydraulic/pneumatic systems

• Ensure airworthiness of:

  • Electrical systems

  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems

  • Propulsion systems

  • Landing gear

  • Flight control surfaces

  • Aircraft structure and furnishings

  • Crew escape systems

• Remove panels and hardware to access and repair aircraft components

• Support aircraft movement fueling/defueling and launch & recovery operations

Requirements:

• 5 years of recent aircraft maintenance experience (C-130 preferred but not required)

• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems including:

  • Landing gear

  • Powerplants

  • Flight controls

  • Fuel systems

• Aircraft flightline experience preferred

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
