A Servants Heart Medical Staffing Location: Greensboro Summary Direct Supervisor: Agency Director The RN Supervisor provides clinical leadership and oversight for home care and infusion services. This role ensures safe high-quality and compliant patient care while supervising nursing staff and coordinating with the care team.
Duration: Per Diem
Pay: $42
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Oversight
- Conduct patient assessments and develop/update care plans
- Deliver and oversee skilled nursing care (IV therapy wound care medications patient education)
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to physicians
- Ensure accurate timely documentation in EHR systems
- Supervise LPNs CNAs and PCAs including required visits and evaluations
- Maintain infection control and safety standards
Staff Training & Support
- Train and onboard clinical staff and caregivers
- Validate competencies and provide ongoing education
- Mentor and support field staff
Care Coordination
- Collaborate with physicians pharmacists and care teams
- Communicate with patients and families regarding care plans
- Support transitions of care and discharge planning
Quality & Compliance
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Conduct chart audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Maintain HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
- Assist with audits surveys and incident reporting
Qualifications
Required
- Active RN license in North Carolina
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- 1 year in home health infusion or community-based care
- IV therapy experience (if applicable)
- Strong leadership organization and communication skills
- Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office
- CPR certification
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Preferred
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Home care or Medicaid waiver program experience
- Infusion certification (CRNI or similar)
- Experience with quality improvement or regulatory surveys
Work Environment
- Combination of office and patient home settings
- Travel required within service area
- May involve standing walking and lifting up to 25 lbs
- Exposure to varying home environments and patient conditions
