As a Personal Injury Attorney you will play a critical role in guiding clients through some of the most challenging moments of their lives. You will manage cases from intake through resolution serving as both a legal advocate and a trusted advisor. This role requires a balance of legal expertise strategic thinking and genuine empathy for clients.
You will be responsible for evaluating claims communicating with clients and insurance carriers negotiating settlements and preparing cases for trial when necessary. Attorneys in this role are expected to take ownership of their cases deliver excellent outcomes and uphold the firm s high standards of client service.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet with clients to discuss case strategy provide updates and build trust through clear and compassionate communication
Evaluate personal injury claims damages and liability
Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims demands and settlement negotiations
Draft pleadings motions discovery and other litigation documents
Prepare cases for trial and conduct trials when required
Maintain accurate case files and ensure timely progression of matters
Collaborate with colleagues while independently managing assigned caseloads
Requirements & Skills:
Full-time availability
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
3 5 years of personal injury litigation experience
Active member of the Texas Bar in good standing
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Strong ability to evaluate claims and case value
Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills
Superior verbal and written communication abilities
Proactive solution-oriented mindset
Ability to work independently in an office environment
Team-oriented with a collaborative approach
