Job Title: Windows Platform Engineer

Remote

Rate: 65$-70$/hr on W2

Position Overview:

The Windows Engineer will play a hands on engineering role supporting enterprise Windows Platform Engineering initiatives. This position focuses on designing building automating maintaining and hardening Windows platforms in large scale enterprise environments.

Responsibilities:

• Engineer and prepare Windows platforms including build standards configuration and operating system readiness
• Develop and maintain Windows operating system builds and security baselines
• Develop and maintain Ansible automation for Windows provisioning configuration management and compliance enforcement
• Apply validate and remediate security controls using CIS benchmarks through tooling such as BigFix and OpenSCAP
• Troubleshoot complex operating system level performance and integration issues
• Contribute to engineering documentation build standards and operational runbooks
• Collaborate with platform engineering and security teams to support enterprise initiatives

Qualifications:

• Five or more years of Windows platform engineering experience supporting Windows Serverand 2022
• Strong Ansible experience focused on Windows automation
• Hands on experience with CIS WorkBench and Windows security hardening practices
• Deep knowledge of Active Directory DNS Group Policy and Windows security controls
• Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience
