Job Title: Azure Engineer Supporting M&A

Location: Remote

Duration: 06 Months

Employment Type: Contract

Pay Rate Range: $85 to $90

Position Overview:

The Azure Cloud Engineer will provide technical leadership in cloud computing and automation. This role focuses on designing deploying and managing Microsoft Azure infrastructure with an emphasis on automation scalability and availability while supporting initiatives related to mergers and acquisitions.

Responsibilities:

• Design deploy and manage Azure infrastructure using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and other IaC Tools
• Build maintain and optimize continuous integration and delivery CI/CD pipelines
• Develop and document cloud architecture design patterns
• Evaluate and design public private and hybrid cloud models
• Define optimal patterns for availability and disaster recovery
• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems including after-hours release deployments
• Automate deployment configuration patching and upgrade processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues end to end
• Provide support for critical production systems including after-hours release activity
• Work closely with internal teams vendors and partners
• Mentor and guide mid-level and junior team members

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of cloud architecture concepts including operating systems virtualization orchestration and scalability
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud infrastructure automation
• Proficiency with DevOps practices and toolchains
• Experience supporting highly available and scalable environments
• Strong problem solving and communication skills

Tools and Technologies:

• Microsoft Azure
• Infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
• Continuous integration and delivery pipelines
• DevOps and automation tooling
