Job Summary

Role: OTT Test Engineer
Location: Englewood NJ (Onsite)
Duration: W2 Contract

Job Description

Test OTT applications including:
- Video on Demand (VOD)
- Live TV
Perform testing across multiple platforms:
- Smart TVs
- Roku
- Samsung TVs
- Apple TV
- Mobile devices
Validate:
- Video playback quality
- User Interface (UI)
- Application performance
Test:
- Live TV streaming
- VOD content
- Content metadata
Analyze network logs using:
- Charles
- Fiddler
Log track and manage defects using Jira
Validate firmware and application updates
Create basic automation scripts using Java and open-source tools
Collaborate closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
