Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Asset Management Associate with a background in Data Center operations and asset lifecycle management. This role will support asset tracking data analysis inventory accuracy and lifecycle processes including receiving deployment and disposal of IT and data center assets.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with asset management tools such as ServiceNow and DCIM platforms along with strong analytical and operational skills.

Key Responsibilities

Asset Lifecycle Management

• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of data center assets (servers network devices storage racks)

• Support asset receiving tagging inventory updates and reconciliation

• Coordinate asset disposition decommissioning and disposal activities

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and audit requirements

Data Analysis & Cleanup

• Perform data analysis validation and cleanup of asset records across systems

• Identify discrepancies between physical and system inventory (ServiceNow / DCIM)

• Generate reports on asset utilization aging and lifecycle status

• Support data normalization and standardization initiatives

Tools & Systems Management

• Maintain and update asset records in ServiceNow (CMDB / Asset Management module)

• Work with DCIM tools (e.g. Nlyte Sunbird DCIM or similar) for tracking physical infrastructure

• Ensure synchronization between asset systems and physical inventory

Operational Support (Hands-on)

• Assist with physical handling of assets (receiving shipments labeling staging)

• Support rack/stack coordination and asset deployment tracking

• Work closely with data center technicians and logistics teams

• Participate in periodic inventory audits and cycle counts

Process Improvement & Documentation

• Identify opportunities to improve asset tracking and reporting processes

• Document workflows SOPs and best practices

• Support automation initiatives within asset management systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

• 2 5 years of experience in:

  • Asset Management / IT Asset Management

  • Data Center operations or infrastructure environment

• Hands-on experience with:

  • ServiceNow (Asset / CMDB modules)

  • DCIM tools (any industry-standard platform)

• Strong proficiency in Excel / data analysis

• Understanding of data center hardware (servers networking storage)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with asset lifecycle processes in large-scale or multi-DC environments

• Familiarity with ITIL practices

• Experience in data cleanup / migration projects

• Knowledge of inventory reconciliation and audit processes
