We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. This position offers guaranteed weekly hours and requires flexibility with shifts. The ideal candidate will assist Occupational Therapists in providing high-quality rehabilitative care to patients needing support to regain functional mobility and independence.
Responsibilities- Support Occupational Therapists in delivering treatment plans for residents.
- Assist patients with exercises therapeutic activities and adaptive equipment use.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Comply with state licensing requirements and professional standards.
- Active COTA license in the state.
- Less than 1 year of experience accepted.
- Ability to work variable shifts.
- Strong communication and patient-care skills.
