Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct vulnerability and threat identification analysis and remediation across server and desktop environments.
Perform regular cybersecurity audits and inspections in accordance with DoD Information Assurance (IA) standards.
Develop and recommend cybersecurity policies and procedures for improved network and data security.
Manage and apply security patches and updates to IT infrastructure including servers workstations and network appliances.
Respond to cybersecurity incidents with appropriate containment investigation and remediation actions.
Assist in maintaining physical security policies and controls for all relevant systems and sites.
Support the configuration and management of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for access control and network segmentation.
Utilize RMF (Risk Management Framework) and eMASS (Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service) for cybersecurity compliance tracking and authorization.
Administer and manage user profiles and training compliance within the Army Training and Certification Tracking System (ATCTS).
Collaborate with system owners and stakeholders to support system accreditation and continuous monitoring efforts.
Maintain documentation for cybersecurity posture audits and mitigation activities.
Basic Qualifications Required Education Certifications Skills and Experience
Certifications: Verifiable IAM Lvl II Certification(s) Required
Associate degree in Information Technology Cybersecurity or a related field (or equivalent experience).
6 years of experience in DoD cybersecurity including:
IA enforcement and audits
Threat identification and remediation
Cybersecurity policy support
Physical security and patch management
Incident response handling
Working knowledge of Cisco ISE RMF and eMASS.
2 years of experience managing and using profiles in ATCTS.
Familiarity with system hardening guidelines (e.g. DISA STIGs).
Strong understanding of DoD cybersecurity standards and policies (e.g. NIST 800-53 DoDI 8500.01 etc.).
Excellent analytical documentation and communication skills.
