Physical Therapy Assistant

Full-Time Day Shift
Location: Providence Medford Medical Center

Athena Health Care is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support our rehabilitation team. Working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist you will provide high-quality patient-centered care to individuals with a wide range of diagnoses and functional needs.

This role focuses on delivering skilled therapeutic interventions supporting patient recovery and promoting independence through evidence-based treatment plans.

• Deliver physical therapy treatments as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist in implementing individualized care plans for patients with diverse conditions
• Monitor patient progress and report outcomes to the supervising therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and therapy techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care

Required:

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Oregon Physical Therapy Assistant License upon hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
• Ability to meet any department-specific training requirements (as applicable)
• Successful completion of a Department of Human Services (DHS) background check upon hire
