Respiratory Care Practitioner

Athena Health Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our clinical care team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory care across a variety of patient populations collaborating closely with physicians and nursing staff to support comprehensive treatment plans.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise critical thinking and the ability to manage advanced respiratory care technologies in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Deliver respiratory therapy treatments and interventions in accordance with physician orders
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop and implement patient care plans
• Operate and maintain ventilatory support systems monitoring equipment and resuscitation devices
• Perform patient assessments diagnostic procedures and oxygen therapy
• Assist physicians with respiratory care procedures and clinical decision-making
• Ensure compliance with departmental protocols safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Complete all required departmental and unit-specific orientation programs

• Education sufficient to meet certification licensure or registration requirements
• Active Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License (upon hire)
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire)

• Experience with advanced ventilatory support systems and critical care environments
• Strong background in patient assessment and respiratory diagnostics
