Insight Hospital and Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
This role requires the ability to respond effectively to emergency situations while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism confidentiality and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department setting
- Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care based on clinical needs
- Respond to urgent and emergent situations with sound clinical judgment
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians clinical staff and interdisciplinary teams
- Deliver care with a focus on compassion safety and patient satisfaction
- Uphold the organizations mission values and standards of conduct
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License Illinois
- BLS ACLS and PALS certifications (required)
- 1 3 years of Emergency Department (ER) experience
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity fast-paced environment
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or current enrollment in a BSN program
- SANE Certification (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) and availability for on-call duties
