Position Overview We are seeking specialized CNICU Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide advanced patient-centered care to critically ill neonatal and cardiac patients in Pittsburgh this role you will be responsible for continuous monitoring specialized interventions and supporting complex care plans tailored to each patients needs. The ideal candidate is experienced in neonatal or cardiac critical care attentive to detail and committed to delivering compassionate care while supporting both patients and their families throughout the treatment process.
Key Responsibilities Provide direct care to neonatal and cardiac ICU patients Monitor ventilators infusion pumps and life support systems Administer medications and specialized treatments Collaborate with neonatologists cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams Educate and support families during critical care treatment Document patient care accurately and in compliance with standards
Additional Expectations Deliver compassionate family-centered care Demonstrate attention to detail in high-risk situations Maintain adherence to safety and clinical protocols
Requirements Active RN license (state-specific or compact) BSN Required Magnet-ready experience preferred BLS required; NRP preferred Minimum 1 2 years of NICU/CNICU experience
