Respiratory Therapist

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessing planning and delivering comprehensive respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. This role involves administering advanced therapeutic interventions monitoring patient progress and responding to critical care situations to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Shift: Night Shift 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM
• Schedule: 3 days per week (12-hour shifts)
• Hours: 36 hours per week

• Assess patients to determine appropriate respiratory treatments and develop individualized plans of care based on clinical diagnosis.
• Implement manage and monitor respiratory care plans including the use of specialized equipment.
• Continuously monitor document and communicate patient status and response to treatment.
• Perform advanced respiratory care procedures and therapeutic modalities.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans based on patient outcomes.
• Administer respiratory medications in accordance with established protocols and standards of care.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions treatment plans and available community resources.
• Respond promptly and effectively as a member of the emergency resuscitation (code) team.
• Maintain compliance with safety infection control and regulatory guidelines.
