The role of Sales Engineer for our Building Automation & Controls Division combines technical skills sales experience and passion for customers. We are seeking a high-energy motivated technical sales professional to promote innovative solutions for current and potential customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and grow assigned territory or group of accounts through the sales of Sanders building automation and mechanical product offerings
Achieve annual sales and gross margin targets
Develop and maintain lasting relationships with new and existing customers
Become a trusted advisor and consultant to building owners contractors and business partners
Create project estimates and proposals to promote all of Sander Mechanical Services product offerings
Use all available sales tools track and document all ongoing sales opportunities
Collaborate with all Sander Mechanical staff to provide the customer with the best possible experience
Become the customer advocate for all Sander Mechanical offerings
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business Management
3 years of experience with industrial controls HVAC controls building automation or commercial HVAC equipment
1 year of or CRM experience
Building Automation and/or HVAC Controls Sales experience preferred with demonstrable knowledge in DDC control theory and HVAC systems
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with customers at all levels both on a technical and business basis
Proven ability to influence customers key decision-makers
Excellent writing communication and presentation skills
Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Must be self-motivated to achieve annual goals and objectives
