Job Summary
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Hospitalist to join its well-established and collaborative pediatric care team at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno Nevada offering a unique opportunity to practice high-quality inpatient pediatric medicine in a Level II Trauma Center with strong subspecialty support academic affiliation and access to world-class outdoor living.
Job Description
- Provide pediatric inpatient ward coverage in a 30-bed unit with an average daily census of 16 18 patients
- Perform newborn nursery examinations
- Conduct Emergency Department pediatric consultations
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary pediatric care team including subspecialists and intensivists
- Work closely with a 16-bed PICU staffed by dedicated pediatric intensivists
- Participate in teaching and education of pediatric residents and medical students
- Engage in an academic environment through affiliation with the University of Nevada Reno School of Medicine
- Deliver care in a Level II Trauma Center serving northern Nevada and northeastern California
- Ensure high-quality patient-centered pediatric care aligned with Pediatrix standards
- This is a permanent full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.

- Competitive salary. base salary range is $190K - $230K (based on years of experience and training; discussed during interview)

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics REQUIRED
- Nevada Medical License (or willingness to obtain) REQUIRED
- Nevada Medical License or eligibility to obtain REQUIRED
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) - REQUIRED * no exemption required at presentation
- Clean malpractice and medical license history HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Does provider already live in the area or they willing to relocate (note in Additional Submission Details field) - REQUIRED
- Does the provider require visa support - J1 or H1B (note in Additional Submission Details field) - REQUIRED
