Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Not specified Certifications Required: BLS (Preferred Only) General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Sterile Processing Tech all OR procedures except Open Heart; Experience with High-Level Disinfection (HLD) Proper selection of wrapping materials Sterilization wrapping procedures Bronchoscopes Sets/trays assembly Scope/Probe Reprocessing Sterilization; Decontamination Ortho/Total Joints Ratio / Census: 10 Rooms with average case load of 25 Unit Systems: Epic Pyxis and preferred experience with CENISTRAC (SPD Intrument Tracking) STERIS (SPD Sterilization Equipment) and STERIS (SPD Decontam Equipment) Scrub Color: Provided by the facility RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere Floating: Within all sectors of Sterile Processing Call Requirements: Not specified Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
