We are growing-and looking for a driven Part-Time Business Development Manager to help expand our footprint and bring in new business.
The Opportunity
This is a flexible high-impact role ideal for a motivated professional who thrives on building relationships closing deals and driving growth.
You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities securing clients and forming strategic partnerships with large primes mid-tier companies and small businesses across the government contracting space.
Hourly Rate: $15 $30/hour (based on experience) Commission: Uncapped (tied to revenue generated) Travel: Required for client meetings conferences and industry events
What Youll Do
Identify pursue and close new business opportunities
Build and maintain relationships with:
Large Prime Contractors
Mid-Tier and Small Business Primes
Government stakeholders
Attend industry events conferences and client meetings to represent GDR
Develop and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
Lead or support capture efforts and teaming strategies
Collaborate with leadership on growth strategy and market positioning
Promote GDRs capabilities in IT cybersecurity and program management
What Were Looking For
3 years of business development sales or capture experience
Experience in government contracting strongly preferred
Proven ability to generate leads and close deals
Strong network within federal agencies and/or prime contractors
Excellent communication negotiation and relationship-building skills
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
Nice to Have
Experience with federal procurement processes (RFPs RFQs IDIQs GWACs)
Background in IT cybersecurity or consulting services
Existing relationships within DoD VA or civilian agencies
