CNA / Patient Care Technician Pediatrics
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to pediatric infant and neonatal patients
- Assist with ADLs including bathing feeding toileting and hygiene
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in patient condition
- Support patient mobility transfers and repositioning
- Assist with feeding (oral NG tube G-tube) and daily care needs
- Perform tracheostomy care and routine catheter care
- Maintain infection control and safety protocols
- Document patient information accurately in the system
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CNA/PCT experience
- Pediatric experience required (must have)
- Active CNA License (State-specific)
- BLS Certification required
- Experience in acute care setting preferred
- Familiarity with Meditech charting system (preferred)
- Ability to work rotating shifts (days/nights) and weekends
- Experience with trachs G-tubes/NG tubes brain injury and spinal cord patients (preferred)
