Application Engineer (Tableau)

Acuity Inc. seeks anApplication Engineer (Tableau)to design develop implement and support enterprise analytics applications for a federal client. This role delivers secure scalable and high-performing Tableau solutions aligned to mission needs.

The Application Engineer translates business requirements into governed production-ready analytics applications and integrates Tableau with enterprise data platforms.

• Optimizedashboard performance extracts and query executionfor large datasets
• Implementsecurity access controls and governed data accesswithin Tableau
• Troubleshoot application data and performance issues across environments
• Supportdeployment promotion and version controlof Tableau content
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensuredata accuracy and usability
• Maintain documentation fordata sources logic and application designSupport application upgrades enhancements and ongoing maintenance

• Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant experience
• 5 years of experiencedeveloping enterprise analytics or reporting applications
• Strong hands-on experience withTableau development
• StrongSQLand data modeling skills
• Experience integrating Tableau with enterprise data platforms
• Experienceoptimizingperformance for large-scale analytics workloads
• Experience troubleshooting application and data issues
• Experience working inAgileenvironments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience withTableau Server or Tableau Cloud
• Experience withdata governance certification and access control
• Experience withAWS Databricks or cloud data platforms
• Experience supporting federal or regulated environments
