Austin Industries has an outstanding opportunity for an IT Operations Field Analyst at our corporate headquarters in Dallas Texas. The IT Operations Field Analyst is responsible for coordination of all circuits at all Headquarters offices and jobsites of all Austin operating companies. Coordination and installation of all IT equipment: including but not limited to networking equipment network cabling Audio/Video Equipment for offices and jobsites at all Austin operating companies.

Responsibilities:

Connectivity and ISP Management:

  • Coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) for pricing installation and support of circuits at headquarters offices and jobsites
  • Maintain network connectivity across all Austin sites
  • Leverage SD-WAN portal for ISP troubleshooting and support
  • Manage cellular data plans and equipment for site connectivity
  • Procure set up and manage Starlink installations

Site and Jobsite Support:

  • Ensure timely setup of technology for new jobsites to support operational success
  • Install configure and demobilize IT equipment at all sites
  • Configure and maintain jobsite printers
  • Manage onsite equipment for all asphalt plants
  • Travel to jobsites as needed

Infrastructure and Network:

  • Coordinate trailer design for cabling and network equipment security
  • Collaborate with the Network Team for programming and configuration of network equipment
  • Participate in the design and implementation of future infrastructure systems and services

Device and Technology Management:

  • Support and implement various devices (e.g. iPads FLIR One cameras)
  • Procure set up and maintain all conference room technology

Documentation and Process Management:

  • Create and maintain documentation for SOPs and system designs
  • Update and maintain Jobsite Setup Smartsheet
  • Manage and update day-to-day tickets in Jira

Vendor and Financial Coordination:

  • Maintain effective communication with vendors peers and jobsites
  • Assist Accounts Payable with billing for circuits routers and vendor services

Planning and Evaluation:

  • Confer with Project Managers to analyze jobsite technology requirements.
  • Research evaluate recommend and implement new technologies.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelors degree in computer technology information systems or related field preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts practices and procedures
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve real-world technology challenges
  • Value-minded resourceful and capable of making sound judgment calls
  • Excellent time management and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) analytical customer services and interpersonal skills

    Requirements:

    • Experience with SD-WAN Intune Cisco configuration Ticketing Systems Construction Field Technologies Cost Controls AudioVisual Solutions.
    • This role will require travel locally and across the US to job sites Operation Groups andfor training or additional certification may be required on occasions.
