Shipping Coordinator

Basic Job Functions:

Responsibilities for the Shipping Coordinator include but are not limited to:

• Set up and coordinate deliveries with vendors customers and carriers.
• Maintain a level-loaded shipping/ receiving schedule.
• Work with Customer Service Production Scheduling Supply Chain and loading teams to maintain an up-to-date accurate and balanced shipping schedule.
• Ensure that all shipping documents are current and comply with all Federal and Company requirements.
• Reconcile production and shipping records to ensure complete shipment of material.
• Maintain up-to-date records for the Shipping and Leadership Team.
• Initiate and participate in freight rate negotiations.
• Utilize logistics tools to execute NIPG freight strategy.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Experience with MS Office products.

Preferences:

• 4 years of similar work in a logistics or shipping department
