UMR Material Handler 2nd shift

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Primary Responsibilities:

Actively participate in stopping and correcting unsafe conditions and behaviors

Demonstrate daily evidence of continuous improvement efforts of 5S and autonomous maintenance

Treat quality as a key pillar of our success by always doing the right thing for our customers

Solve problems daily by working together as an engaged team member

Receive incoming goods

Maintains inventory by identifying labeling and placing materials and supplies in stock and records location of the inventory

Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders

Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs

Help in the relief of breaks as needed

Maintain records and documentation

Other projects and tasks as assigned

Experience:

• Ability to work independently
• Ability to be certified to operate a forklift
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Sound communication skills and excellent problem-solving ability
• Possess skills required to improvise and adapt where needed
• Represent the company in a professional positive and enthusiastic manner in all matters
• Comply with occupational safety regulations
• Work in shifts and overtime as required.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base pay offered will depend on a variety of factors including experience education geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for additional benefits to the base pay range listed above.
