Job Type: Contract
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week (no guaranteed hours)
Schedule: Variable shifts (Day/Evening)
Overtime: Applicable after 40 hours/week
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Medication Technician to join a healthcare team in a long-term care this role you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide both direct and indirect patient care ensuring a safe supportive and therapeutic environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications via oral topical vaginal rectal routes and inhalation
- Accurately document medications administered refused or omitted
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene mobility and meals
- Monitor and support patient comfort safety and well-being
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain a clean and organized care environment
Required Qualifications
- Active CNA certification on the Maine State Registry
- CNA-M (Medication Technician) coursework must be listed on CNA certification
- Minimum 1 year of CNA experience required
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- No licensure issues
