Extended School Year Instructional Assistant/Personal Care LPN

Location: Liberty Elementary School

Grade 26/Step 24: $27.37/hour

5.5 hours/day

Temporary Timesheet

Set-Up Date: 5/29/2026

Program Dates: 6/1/2026 - 6/25/2026 (Mondays-Thursdays)

This job reports to Elementary School Nurse

Essential Functions

Establish and maintain good rapport with students employees and community.

Observe record and report to the school nurse the condition of the student including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of a change in the patients condition.

Provide for the emotional and physical comfort of the student.

Assist in the care of the student in accordance with the students care plan.

Assist as needed with other students in program.

Other job-related duties as assigned.

Experience: Previous experience working with severely handicapped

childrenEffective communication skills

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Required TestingCertificates and Licenses

Possession of a current license to

practice as a licensed practical nurse

Continuing Educ. / Training

Clearances

Criminal Background Clearance

Valid Arizona DPS Level I IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
