The Position

As a Reliability Engineer you are optimizing site infrastructure and utility systems (HVAC RO/DI gases etc.) through trend analysis and data-driven strategies to maximize reliability efficiency and resource utilization. You drive operational excellence by conducting Root Cause Analyses (RCA) to resolve recurring issues improve maintenance plans and minimize equipment downtime and process bottlenecks.

The Opportunity

In this role you may be required to work nights or weekends on occasion (project/activity specific) and provide after-hours this role you are

  • Optimizing site facility infrastructure and control systems including utilities HVAC and RO/DI by analyzing system trends to increase capacity and resource efficiency.
  • Eliminating operational losses and equipment bottlenecks by conducting root cause analyses using 5-Whys and Fishbone methodologies to implement permanent technical solutions.
  • Advancing equipment reliability and asset lifespans by developing predictive maintenance plans and investigating downtime patterns to minimize unscheduled disruptions.
  • Driving data-driven process improvements and reporting to align facility performance with site planning strategies and stakeholder requirements.
  • Managing vendor relationships and contract lifecycles to ensure high service standards cost control and the mitigation of safety and operational risks.
  • Executing energy conservation projects and sustainability initiatives by auditing consumption data to meet corporate environmental goals.
  • Directing site asset management and Facility Condition Assessments (LCAM) while providing technical training and SOP development for operations and maintenance staff.

Who You Are

  • You hold a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related field (required)
  • 2 years in maintenance plant engineering and/or facilities management
  • An equivalent combination of education and work experience is accepted

Behaviors competencies and qualities of the ideal applicant

  • Knowledge of HVAC utilities electrical and energy management systems
  • Working knowledge of building automation / process control systems preferred
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills strong working knowledge of AutoCAD SAP Google Workspace
  • Diagnostics Medical Device Pharmaceutical industry and/or high-tech industryknowledge preferred

Relocation benefits are not offered for this position.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is 76900.00 - 142700.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience qualifications geographic location and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
