Huachuca Cochise County a population of more than 131000 people and our surrounding communities. Were comfortably nestled in the San Pedro River Valley 75 miles southeast of Tucson. Canyon Vista Medical Center was founded in 1963 as Western Baptist Osteopathic Hospital on what was then the eastern edge of Sierra Vista. Growth and advancing technology dictated building our new 177000 square foot hospital at 5700 E Hwy 90 completed in 2015.

How youll contribute

ACat Scan Technologist (CT)who excels in this role:

• Demonstrate an understanding of radiographic positioning radiographic technique radiation safety imaging equipment infection control and quality control techniques.
• Perform routine diagnostic imaging studies as needed.
• Ensures that the patient examinations are performed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Provides accurate patient positioning computer entries and filming.
• Performs nuclear medicine scans according to protocols.
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to the radiologist prescribed protocols.
• Complies with hospital and imaging policy/procedures 100% of the time.
• Provide services to all patients families and physicians serving the population.

What were looking for
Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include:

• Graduate of a JC/CAHEA approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
• BLS
• One (1) year recent experience in general radiography.
• One (1) or more years CT experienced preferred.
