Monday - Thursday:7:45 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. (includes one 15-minute paid break and one 30-minute unpaid meal break)
Friday:7:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. (includes one 15-minute paid break)

Wage: $26.66 per hour (2025-26 PSE Salary Schedule)

This position is temporary for the 2025-26 school year and is paid on timesheet at step 1 (per PSE CBA 1.5.3.)
Position Summary: Under the direction of a certificatedTeacher this position is primarily instructional but limited to work within a Special Education self-contained setting (individually or in small groups) and will also assist with behavior and personal hygiene issues of high needs Special Education complete details please see the attached job description.
Must meet WA State Paraeducator requirements:
- At least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent
In addition a paraeducator must also meet one of the following:
- Have received a passing score on one of the assessments approved by the Paraeducator Board ();OR
- Hold an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university.;OR
- Have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at the 100 level or higher at an accredited college or university;OR
- Have completed an apprenticeship as a paraeducator in a program registered with the Washington State Apprenticeship and Training Council.
Upon hire successful candidate must provide:
- Acopy of a High School diploma or HS transcripts or acceptable equivalent document.
- Official post secondary transcript(s).
