Senior Business Analyst

Knowledge Services is actively seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a contract (4-8 month) position with our client in Phoenix AZ.

Role Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit analyze and document business and functional requirements ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Lead complex projects involvingcross-functional teams.
• Partner with technical teams to translate business needs into clear actionable specifications and support solution design and implementation.
• Evaluate existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement to deliverclient value.
• Use advanced process modelingtechniques to identify and designimprovements in business workflows that align with strategic goals.
• Possess relevant advanced certificationsand contributes to creating internalcertification criteria.
• Lead internal training sessionssharing expertise and best practiceswith colleagues.
• Lead high-level strategic discussionswith key stakeholders to align projectgoals with business objectives andsecure stakeholder buy-in.
• Serve as a liaison between business units technical teams and external partners ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Cultivate a culture of openness andtransparency among BAsencouraging feedback and iterativeimprovements through effectivecommunication channels.
• Contribute to project planning risk management and change management activities to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.
• Contribute tohigh quality professional deliverables in order to meet project timelines to ensurethat client expectations are set accurately from the beginning.
• Create professional user-friendly documentation and training materials to support solution adoption and knowledge transfer.
• Provide guidance on using tools andtechniques effectively supportingless experienced BAs in theirprofessional development.

Requirements

• Proven ability to collaborate with clients to elicit and documentbusiness and technical requirements.
• Skilled in business analysis techniques including identifying problems opportunities and recommending data-driven solutions.
• Experience assessing business needs and proposing processimprovements or system enhancements.
• Experience managing or coordinatingprojects using project management methodologies (e.g. Waterfall Agile).
• Ability to lead process re-engineering efforts.
• Skilled in team coordination and resource management.
• Experience supporting the rollout and adoption of businesssolutions.
• Ability to analyze business processes and generate visualizations ordashboards to support decision-making.
• Familiarity with change management principles to drive adoption.
• Ability to create training materials and conduct end-user or internalstaff training.
• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft 365 applications includingExcel Word and Project with the ability to create manage and deliver high-quality professional artifacts. Strong attention to detail is essential to ensure accuracy consistency and clarity in all deliverables supporting effective communication and project success.
