Building technicianhandyman (Full or Part Time)

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance / Handyman to join our team and assist with the upkeep of our buildings.

You would help maintain Bob Bell Nissan and Kia Automotive Dealerships!

The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and the ability to maintain various building systems.
This role requires proficiency in English for effective communication and a commitment to ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist the maintenance team to perform routine building maintenance tasks including plumbing electrical and HVAC systems.
• Handle basic repairs such as fixing leaky faucets replacing light bulbs and painting.
• Perform minor repairs (handyman skills)
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to avoid future issues and reduce emergency repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or employees.
• Maintain clean and safe working conditions at all times.
• Help with setting up and preparing the building for events or other special needs.
• Order and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools.
• Assist with grounds keeping duties as needed.

Experience

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Must have a valid driver license
• Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance tasks is essential.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment floor care and building care is a plus.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems electrical work and plumbing is a plus.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform maintenance tasks.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and company guidelines.
• Flexible availability and ability to work evenings or weekends if needed.
