We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Production Technician to support high-volume sterile processing operations. This role focuses on handling loaner and consignment trays maintaining production workflow efficiency and ensuring compliance with sterilization and documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
Loaner & Consignment Tray Support
Receive and inspect incoming trays for accuracy and completeness
Verify tray contents before and after sterilization
Track trays throughout processing and return cycles
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to meet deadlines
Production Workflow
Support daily sterile processing operations and workload prioritization
Identify and escalate discrepancies or delays
Maintain organized and efficient workspaces
Communication & Collaboration
Work closely with leadership and team members to align priorities
Assist with vendor coordination and delivery tracking
Maintain professional and effective communication
Documentation & Quality Assurance
Accurately document tray tracking and sterilization records
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
Support quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
Certifications:
CRCST or CSPDT certification (required)
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience & Skills:
Minimum 2 years of hands-on Sterile Processing (SPD) experience
Experience handling loaner and consignment trays
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in fast-paced high-volume environments
Familiarity with instrument tracking systems and documentation
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in high-volume healthcare or surgical environments
Process improvement mindset and proactive approach
