Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:The Scheduling Coordinator performs general office work takes written orders from physicians offices for Breast Imagingprocedures schedules patient appointments in the correct order and provides prep instructions to patients/providers in preparation for examinations. The Scheduling Coordinator also answers phones and works on multiple work queues to schedule patient appointments. Scheduling Coordinators are also trained in receptionist and interviewer duties to include checking patients in for their appointment answering phones and updating patient information. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalent requiredCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification or Phlebotomy certification from an approved training program requiredQUALIFICATIONS:Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionHighly organized and detail oriented; particularly in regard to time management Ability to prioritize key objectives while performing daily tasks as well as the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent interpersonal negotiation and conflict resolution skillsComputer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to effectively utilize applicable electronic systems and programsWORK SCHEDULE:Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:00PM
