Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with orthopedic experience to support patient care in a clinical setting. This role involves assisting with patient assessments delivering direct care and ensuring a safe and efficient environment across multiple clinic locations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform systematic patient data collection including physiologic psychosocial and cognitive assessments
- Assist patients with daily care activities such as hygiene ambulation and meals
- Provide pre-operative post-operative and post-mortem care as needed
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to the supervising RN or provider
- Maintain a safe clean and responsive patient care environment
- Support medication reconciliation and patient education
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Active New Jersey LPN License
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (American Heart Association)
- Orthopedic experience or knowledge preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to travel between clinic locations (Paramus & Montvale NJ)
