Test Engineer (55825)

Test Engineers at ATS Fort Wayne plan and facilitate customer testing in the laboratory. They work with test technicians to ensure that all customer and standard requirements are met while performing static strength and dynamic fatigue testing on various medical device components and assemblies.

Responsibilities:

Review customer test requirements and prepare testing plans for laboratory

Work with designer and machinist to create necessary fixtures for laboratory testing

Setup and conduct mechanical tests on various components and assemblies

Work with test technicians to document and monitor tests to ensure accurate and timely results

Perform data analysis and generate test reports for customer deliver

2 years of hands-on experience in an R&D or Quality testing environment

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Strong mechanical aptitude and hand tool proficiency

Strong computing skills

Strong technical writing skills

Servo-hydraulic load frame experience preferred

Medical device experience preferred.

Experience using MTS test control software preferred

Experience working within an ISO quality management system preferred
