Key Responsibilities

As a vital role charged with the management of both people and processes theWarehouse Manager will be responsible for all phases of theDallas warehousing operations. The selected individual will manage a team of employees who are performing a wide variety of shipping/receiving and inventory management activities while also jumping in and performing these same duties him/herself. The incumbent will be responsible for the assurance of adequate staffing the setting of daily priorities maintaining of service levels management of project schedules and the delivery of continuous training and support.

• Responsible for all activities including warehousing inventory control and shipping/receiving
• Managea team that consists of warehouse associates and drivers
• Provide support and organization to Warehouse Customer Service and Showroom Counter Sales staff in order to efficiently process customer orders and manage the shipping and receiving process accurately safely and on-time
• Work closely with sales and marketing procurement planning and customer service departments to ensure on time product shipment as per customer expectations
• Responsible for setting department budgets ensuring timely and accurate reporting and following up on warehousing issues
• Ensure an effective flow of communication with all personnel involved
• Monitor warehouse performance by reviewing daily weekly and monthly key performance indicators and metrics (on-time shipping fill rate backorders etc.)
• Ensure inventory management activities are performed as per procedure and policies (cycle count inventory variance reporting slotting replenishment consolidation etc.)
• Hold responsibility for the overall hiring training and supervising of warehouse and driver staff
• Participate in personnel development at all levels through talent acquisition performance management education communication and expectation setting
• Oversee and ensure all logistics-related operations comply with applicable environmental health safety and other regulatory rules and regulations
• Promote and uphold Richelieus set of Core Values
• Perform any other duties related to the position assigned by the immediate supervisor

What We Are Looking For

• 5 years of experience in a leadership role such as warehouse manager branch manager or operations manager
• Working experience in the construction or building materials industry is a strong plus
• Eager to learn with a passion for providing solutions to customers and a drive to achieve success
• Desire/ability to also perform daily warehousing tasks alongside team
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; must be able to effectively use Excel Word and Outlook for daily tasks as needed
• Aligned with Richelieus Five Core Values; able to demonstrate excellence with hands-on proactive leadership
• Position may require occasional lifting/moving up to 50 lbs

Compensation and Benefits

• Total annual earnings is estimated to be approximately $95000 - $132000 (base salary plus annual bonus potential)
