Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse Orthopedic

Location: Paramus & Montvale NJ (travel between nearby clinic locations)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Schedule: Monday Friday
Hours: 40 hours/week
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in an orthopedic specialty setting. The LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse supporting clinical operations and ensuring safe patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ongoing systematic patient assessments (physiological psychosocial and cognitive)
• Assist patients with daily care needs including hygiene ambulation and meals
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care
• Position patients to ensure comfort and safety
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to the RN
• Support medication reconciliation and patient education
• Assist with preoperative assessments and clinical procedures
• Maintain a clean safe and organized patient care environment
• Deliver individualized patient-centered care based on age culture and clinical needs

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
• Active New Jersey LPN License
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 3 years of LPN experience (5 years preferred)
• Orthopedic experience required
• Strong communication and clinical support skills
