John Mulhall came to Omaha in 1953 to landscape and now three generations later were as committed as weve ever been to making Omaha a more beautiful place to live. Today were a team of a few hundred people but our focus remains the same: working together to engage our community and share our passion for the beauty of the natural world. And we have fun doing it.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
As the Front-End Lead youll report to our Front-End Manager and work to build a team of Front-End team members that moves our customers accurately efficiently and congenially through the registers. Youll offer training and guidance to our seasonal Front-End Team Members all in line with our vision to be the most loved plant shop in the country.
YOUR IMPACT
- Model our Customer Journey: The 15:5 Rule Be the Guide Keep It Seamless Forget-Me-Nots and Close the Deal
- Lead training by partnering with the Front-End Manager to facilitate Front-End training in line with our Three-Step Training Model
- Champion conversion by setting an example for the Front-End by achieving new member conversion results at or better than your weekly monthly and annual plan
- Lead the Concessions process by producing in line with the weekly production schedule ensuring all items are completed on time and to standard
- Execute the cash process including deposits withdrawals and reconciliations
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
- A belief in and passion for our purpose beautifying our community
- 2 years of retail experience preferred
- The ability to manage multiple competing priorities with a consistently positive response to pressure
- The ability to bend and lift 50 pounds stand for long periods and work in a variety of weather conditions
- A supportive team player who anticipates problems and works collaboratively to solve them
